Furse Vintage Theatre Fresnel Spotlight

A rare 1950’s/60’s theatre spotlight by Furse.

An original theatre spotlight made by The Furse Lighting Company in their factory in Nottingham.

The lamp was a basic 500watt fresnel light with a soft edge lens.

These are original vintage lights made from mild steel and have been used for many years and they show signs of their years of service in the theatre industry.

Restored and in good original condition, paint has been stripped back to the original metalwork.

Unit has been stripped down to the base metal and rewired and will accept BC lamps including low energy LED.

There is a switched cable and a 13amp plug.

The lamp is in working condition, has been re-wired but not tested.

Re-wired with a bayonet cap fitting and accepts Standard BC lamps as well as low energy LED. Cable has an in-line switch.
